In the second part I fail to explain its application better. In the lick I exploit the 3 major/augmented triads in a descending manner playing both fifths, starting from E then playing C and then Ab(G#). There are other triads within the augmented scale, this sequence in particular gives both an IN and OUT color to the scale applied to an m7/9 chord.
